Sponsored by the Orienteering Branch of the China University Sports Association, undertaken by Guizhou University, and co-organized by Guizhou University Orienteering Association, the "First National College Campus Orienteering Tour and the 6th Guizhou University Sports Festival Orienteering Competition" ended successfully.

On the morning of November 6, a brief and grand opening ceremony was held in the romantic Huaxi-Guizhou University in the beautiful summer resort. The opening ceremony of the competition was presided over by Liu Wei, director of the China University Sports Association and director of the Sports Department of Guizhou University. Leaders attending the opening ceremony included Ms. Tang Wanhui, Secretary-General of Orienteering Branch of China University Sports Association, Professor Wu Cinan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Guizhou University, Professor Liu Xiaoping, Secretary of the Department of Sports of Guizhou University, and Executive Director of Guizhou Sports Science Association and Deputy of the Department of Sports of Guizhou University Minister Yu Gui and Professor etc.

Professor Wu Cinan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and pointed out: Orienteering is a sport that is much loved by contemporary college students. It is a comprehensive test of athletes' physical fitness and intelligence, full of fun and challenges. As one of the earliest colleges and universities to develop orienteering in China, our school attaches great importance to the popularization and development of orienteering. We hope that, inspired by the Olympic spirit of "faster, higher and stronger", we will promote the development of "peace, friendship and progress". Under the call of the Olympic tenet, we will carry forward the fighting spirit of unity, friendship, progress, harmony, participation, and dreams, and share the charm and joy of orienteering together.

At the opening ceremony, a grand awarding ceremony was held. The Orientation Branch of the China University Sports Association awarded Guizhou University the title of "National Student Orienteering Demonstration School".

This competition is supported by software and equipment provided by Hua Ruijian, which is divided into individual points competition and team competition. The individual points competition is divided into two groups, A and B. The team competition consists of two teams from each college, and each team consists of two girls and two boys. After fierce competition, the School of Economics, School of Management and School of Foreign Languages ​​won the top three places.
