Due to flight schedules and other reasons, the Chinese delegation is the penultimate team to arrive in this tournament, arriving in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, only 2 hours earlier than the Swiss team. However, because the organizing committee only sent a car to pick up the sports team, the Chinese delegation arrived in Borlänge at 11 pm on the 18th at the same time as the Swiss and Czech teams. In order to adapt to the jet lag and local conditions as soon as possible, after a night of rest, the athletes played a simulation game in the surrounding area in the morning to adapt to the local terrain.
On the afternoon of the 19th, the 17th World University Orienteering Championships opened in Borlänge, Sweden.
