The first National College Campus Orienteering Tour (Shaanxi Station) ended successfully

Sponsored by the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, undertaken by Xi’an University of Technology, and co-organized by Xi’an Ourun Sports Development Co., Ltd., the first national college campus orienteering cross-country tournament "Ourun Cup" (Shaanxi Station) ended successfully on the 16th at Xi’an University of Technology. Attracted by Xi'an TV Station, Xi'an Educational TV Station, Western Net, China Outdoor Net, Tencent Travel, etc., nearly a dozen media in the province carried out propaganda reports on the event.
　　 On the morning of the 16th, a brief and grand opening ceremony was held. Guo Lihong, vice president of Xi'an University of Technology, Jiang Jingping, secretary general of the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, directors of sports departments of participating universities and more than 700 athletes participated in the opening ceremony. At the opening ceremony, Vice President Guo Lihong made a speech. He pointed out that "this event has received strong support from the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, the Sports, Health and Arts Division of the Education Department of Shaanxi Province and related departments, which provided a great opportunity for the popularization and improvement of orienteering in our province. A good platform will promote the rapid development of orienteering in colleges and universities in our province."
　　 Secretary-General Professor Jiang Jingping, on behalf of the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, awarded our school the "National Student Orienteering Demonstration School" plaque. At the same time, he hoped that through this competition, the student's orienteering in our school and even in Shaanxi Province could develop faster.
This competition is divided into three groups: Group A, Group B, and Open Group, with three events including team competition, integral competition and 100 meters competition. A total of more than 300 open group athletes from 10 colleges across the school, 11 colleges and universities across the province participated. The competition was tense and enthusiastic. After several matches, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Science, and the School of Water Conservancy and Hydropower won the top three in Group A, and Xi’an University of Technology, Xi’an Institute of Physical Education, Xi’an Polytechnic University and Xi’an Jiaotong University respectively won the second The top three in the group.
