Notice on Holding the 2010 National Orienteering Championship

In order to fully implement the National Fitness Regulations, advocate active and healthy physical fitness activities, popularize and develop orienteering, and continuously improve the level of orienteering in my country, the Aeronautical Radio Model Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration decided on December 2-6, 2010 The 2010 National Orienteering Championship was held in Xichang, Sichuan Province. The relevant information is hereby notified as follows:
1. Competition time: December 2-6, 2010.
2. Competition location: Xichang City, Sichuan Province, the detailed location will be notified later
3. Competition schedule:
December 2nd: Registration, the team leader coaches meeting will be held in the evening
December 3rd: Opening Ceremony, 100m Orientation
December 4: Middle distance
December 5: Short distance, closing ceremony
December 6: Leaving the meeting
4. Participation method:
(1) All athletes participating in the competition must register for the competition as a representative team.
(2) All athletes participating in the National Championship must hold an athlete registration certificate issued by the State Sports General Administration.
(3) Those who have automatically obtained the qualification of the elite group but fail to register in time will be disqualified.
(4) Athletes who have not automatically obtained the qualifications of the elite group can apply for a wild card, and can only participate in the competition after being approved by the China Orienteering Association. Athletes holding a wild card can be divided into two categories: free of room and board fees and self-care category. The elite wild card application form (see attachment) must be sent to the dedicated e-mail address for competition registration: oacentry@126.com before November 12th.
(5) All participating athletes, coaches and team leaders must apply for "personal accident insurance" during the competition (the insured amount is not less than RMB 200,000, and the additional medical treatment is RMB 10,000). When registering, a copy of the insurance document must be submitted. Those without insurance are not allowed to participate.
5. Registration and check-in:
(1) Registration time: Please register before November 19, 2010.
(2) Registration method: After each team completes the registration form as required, submit the paper and electronic registration form and photo comparison form to the China Orienteering Association (see the attachment for the registration form). Please confirm by phone after registration to prevent omissions.
(3) Registration time: 8:00 to 18:00 on December 2 (only reception on the same day).
(4) Registration location: Changhong Bauhinia Hotel.
(5) At the time of registration, the qualification review committee will conduct a qualification review of all athletes. All athletes must report with their original ID cards, otherwise they will not be allowed to participate.
6. Entry fee:
(1) All team leaders, coaches and athletes are required to pay entry fees.
(2) Amount of participation fee:
The entry fee is 250 yuan/person, including the local round-trip transportation fee, map fee, number bib, order book and other materials costs.
Unit members of the China Orienteering Association can get a discount of 50 yuan/person for the entry fee.
(3) Payment of participation fee:
Please pay the entry fee to the account of the executive organizer Xichang Xinfeiying Sports Development Co., Ltd. before November 20 to confirm the registration as a registration guarantee.

7. Accommodation and transportation expenses:
(1) Board and lodging expenses:
1. The board and lodging expenses of the elite athletes (excluding self-care category) shall be provided by the organizing committee, and the board and lodging expenses of other personnel shall be borne by themselves.
2. The hotel room and board recommended by the organizing committee for each team is divided into three standards:
Class A: Two-star hotel, cost standard: 100 yuan/day/person.
Category B: Three-star hotel, cost standard: 130 yuan/day/person.
Category C: Four-star hotel, cost standard: 150 yuan/day/person.
3. When registering, please fill in the room and board standards in order of priority. Check in according to the registration order. If the room of this standard is full, the second and third choices will be given priority to check in according to the filling in.
(2) Transportation expenses: The transportation expenses of each participating team shall be borne by themselves.
8. Other:
1. Regarding the restricted areas of the competition: Torch Square, Qinglong Temple, Erwu Mountain Forest Park, Yuanjiashan, Lushan, etc. From now until the start of the game, without the permission of the China Orienteering Association, team members are not allowed to enter the restricted area. If found, the team will be disqualified.
2. At the time of registration, each athlete needs to pay an electronic finger card deposit of 100 yuan. After the game, return the finger card and return the deposit (to be handled by the team leader or coach).
3. Each team prepares a team flag (No. 2, 2.4 meters × 1.6 meters).
9. The organizer is responsible for explaining the rules.

(3) The organizer shall be responsible for the travel expenses, boarding and lodging expenses of the referees and staff.
