The 2010 China Kunming International Orienteering Open was held in Kunming from December 17 to December 20, 2010. The event was hosted by the Kunming Municipal People's Government, and specifically undertaken by the Yunnan Provincial Mass Sports Guidance Center, Kunming Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, Kunming Municipal Sports Federation, and Kunming Orienteering Association. The Air Traffic Control Center of the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China and the China Orienteering Association, as supporting units, provided great help, and Beijing Le'en Jiaye Sports Development Co., Ltd. provided technical support.
Following the principle of "fitness for all" and following the call of the central government to move forward from "sports power" to "sports power", the "2010 Kunming International Orienteering Open" has set up "blind map competition", "matching relay competition" and "cross competition" in addition to the regular events. These three events were set up for the first time in the country, enabling more ordinary enthusiasts to participate in the happy experience, compete with professional athletes and compete with each other, so as to make directional sports "fly into ordinary people's homes".
Blind map competition: start from the beginning, take one minute to read the map, then put down the map and start to find points. During the competition, you can return to the map viewing area to see the map and take note of the time.
Paired relay race: randomly select male and female combinations and share a finger card to calculate their total score.
Crossing the Challenge: In addition to the top three prizes for men and women, the organizing committee, adhering to the purpose of "having a good experience and enjoying the competition", launched an interesting game called "monkey breaking the bag", which greatly lowered the threshold and gave every athlete a chance to share the prize. |
