From this month, Sichuan will hold orienteering and other sports competitions for middle school students

On January 4, the Department of Education of Sichuan Province issued a notice, officially determining that 11 secondary school sports competitions, including the orienteering cross-country championship of primary and secondary schools in Sichuan Province, will be held in relevant cities and prefectures of the province from January 2011.
All competitions are hosted by Sichuan Student Sports Art Association. Some of the events that have been determined in 2011 are as follows: In January, the orienteering cross-country championship for middle school students in Sichuan Province was held in Yibin; From January to February, Sichuan Middle School Boys' and Girls' Basketball League (championship) and Sichuan Middle School Boys' and Girls' Football League (championship) were held in Dazhou and Mianyang; In February, the men's and women's volleyball league matches (championships) of middle school students in Sichuan Province were held in Chengdu; From April to May, the Five-person Football Championships of primary and secondary schools in Sichuan Province were held in Chengdu; In December, the "2011-2012 China High School Men's and Women's Basketball League" Sichuan competition was held in Chengdu.
In addition, the Sichuan Middle School Track and Field Championships and the Sichuan Middle School Radio Direction Finding Championships are planned to be held in April 2011, with the venue to be determined. Other events are listed as pending items, and the time and place of the competition will be determined according to the specific situation of the organizer, or the competition of this year will not be held temporarily.
