The training course for national student orienteering cartographers was successfully completed

The five-day 2011 National Students' Orienteering Cartographer Training Course and the Orienteering Cartography Standardization Publicity and Implementation Course were successfully concluded in Changsha, Hunan Province. This training class invited Professor Zhang Xin'an, director of the Map and Route Design Committee of the China Students Orienteering Association, to give a lecture on orienteering mapping, and Mr. Sun Guozhao, director of the Popularization and Promotion Committee of the China Students Orienteering Association, to give a lecture on the interpretation of the Orienteering Specifications. The training class combines theory with practice, and has half a day to practice surveying and mapping in the field every day, so that the students can really learn something. The assessment was carried out on the afternoon of the 25th. All the students successfully completed the training course and obtained the completion certificate issued by the China Student Orientation Association.
This training class has received good results. With the unanimous approval of the students, at the end of the training class, all the teachers took their own map works to hide their joy in their hearts, and said that they must stick to it after going back, and make their own efforts and contributions to the promotion and popularization of local orienteering.
