The first national college campus orienteering cross-country tour (Zhejiang Station) ended in Zhejiang Sci-tech University

On September 20th, the first National College Campus Orienteering Tournament (Zhejiang Station), the Orienteering Competition of the Sixth Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and the 2010 Military Training Orienteering Competition were held in our school. On the morning of the 20th, a brief and grand opening ceremony was held. Cheng Gang, deputy secretary of the school party committee and director of the organizing committee of this competition, Jiang Jingping, secretary general of the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, and members of the sports committees of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University attended the opening ceremony. At the opening ceremony, Secretary Cheng Gang gave a speech. He pointed out that the competition was well prepared and organized. Jiang Jingping, secretary general of the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, awarded the medal of "National Student Orienteering Demonstration School" to our school. At the same time, he hopes that through this competition, the orienteering in our school and the whole province will flourish.
This orienteering competition is sponsored by the Chinese Student Orienteering Association, undertaken by Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and co-organized by the China University Student Orienteering Training Center.
This competition is divided into three groups: Group A, Group B, and Group C, and there are three events: team competition, integral competition, and 100 meters competition. A total of nearly 1,000 athletes from 16 colleges across the school participated. The scene of the competition was tense and enthusiastic. After several games, the School of Science, the School of Science and Art, and the School of Construction and Engineering won the top three in Group A, and the Qixin College, the School of Fashion and the School of Science won the top three in Group B.
