From December 8 to December 14, 2010, the 2010 National Student Orienteering Cross-country Classic and the first National University Campus Orienteering Cross-country Tour will be held in Sanya, Hainan Province. The competition was sponsored by the National University Sports Association of the Ministry of Education, the Orienteering Branch of the China University Sports Association, and the Sanya Municipal People's Government; Undertaken by Sanya Education Bureau; Hainan Provincial Department of Education, Shanghai Yaning Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Sanya Beauty Crown Cultural Convention and Exhibition Center are co-organized. On the 8th, the registration work of the competition was fully carried out in Sanya Beautiful Spring Resort Hotel. The competition items of this competition are divided into five categories: 100m orienteering (three men and three women per unit), short distance race, middle distance race, point race (three men and three women per unit), point race (players who have not signed up for the middle distance race can sign up for it), relay race (one team for men and one team for women, three for each team) and team race (one team for men and one team for women, four for each team). The contestants in the competition are divided into two groups: the elite group and the ordinary group. Among them, the elite group includes: university elite group (18 schools that can recruit directional high-level athletes), university elite group A (undergraduate colleges), university elite group B (junior colleges) and high school elite group; The ordinary group includes: college group A (undergraduate colleges), college group B (junior colleges), high school group (including secondary vocational schools), open group, adult group and tour finals group. It is reported that athletes who participate in the final of the university tour are limited to three events: short distance race, point race and team race.
