Notice on Holding the National Training Course for Students' Orienteering Cartographers and the Publicity and Implementation Course of Orienteering Cartography Standards XDXZ [2011] No. 7
All relevant schools: in order to meet the needs of various units to carry out orienteering teaching and training, further improve the level of school orienteering cartographers in China and train more professional orienteering cartographers. At the same time, in order to better publicize and implement the standard of orienteering drawing, the Chinese Students' Orienteering Association will hold the National Training Course for Orienteering Cartographers and the Publicity Course for Orienteering Drawing Standards in Changsha from May 21 to 26. The specific notice is as follows:
1、 Training objects: orienteering cartographers, coaches, orienteering teachers, students or other orienteering enthusiasts.
2、 Time and place of training: Time: May 21 to May 26 Place: Changsha City, Hunan Province
3、 Schedule: check in on May 21 (see the supplementary notice for the location), study on May 22-25, and leave on May 26
4、 Training contents and methods: 1. Contents: Interpretation of the Orienteering Map Specifications; Principles and procedures of directional mapping; International specification for directional mapping; On-site mapping methods of directional maps (including mapping in the field and in the park), methods and skills of using OCAD software, teaching and training with OCAD, etc. 2. Teaching method: combine field drawing and indoor teaching, focus on field drawing, and focus on the improvement of actual drawing ability (in order to meet the needs of the course, field drawing is mainly used in campus and park, supplemented by field drawing).
5、 Lecturer: The publicity and implementation class specially invited domestic experts to comprehensively interpret the Orienteering Map Specifications. The training course for cartographers is specially invited to give a full lecture by famous domestic cartographers.
6、 Expenses: The training fee for participants shall be settled by the sending unit, and the registration fee: 2200 yuan/person (including training fee, accommodation fee, data fee, site transportation fee, drawing tool fee, drawing training course completion certificate fee).
