2011 Yueqing Orienteering Coach Training Course concluded successfully

On March 27, the three-day 2011 training course for orienteering coaches in primary and secondary schools in Yueqing City was successfully concluded at the Third Middle School in Yueqing City. The training was attended by 112 coaches from Yueqing and Wenzhou.
The training class invited Mr. Tang Wanhui, the executive vice secretary of the Chinese Students Orienteering Association and the coach of the National Orienteering Team, to give the keynote speech. In the three-day training, the combination of theory and practice, indoor and outdoor, decentralized training and comprehensive training is adopted. Teach orientation training methods and means, skills and tactics, training plan formulation, post-match analysis, etc. During the training, the students showed great enthusiasm and said that they would do their best to promote the development of orienteering for local students and make efforts to improve the overall level of orienteering for Chinese students.
The training course is of great significance to improve the teaching level of school coaches in Yueqing and Wenzhou, and to promote the popularization and development, teaching and training of orienteering in schools in both cities.
The training was strongly supported and helped by the China Students Orienteering Association, Yueqing Municipal Bureau of Education, Yueqing Municipal Bureau of Sports Development, and Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Sports and Sports Association.
