五、Competition items and groups
（1） Competition: medium distance orienteering cross-country race
（2） Group
1. College Elite Men's Team College Elite Women's Team
2. College ordinary men's group College ordinary women's group
6、 Entry method:
（1） All institutions of higher learning can form teams to participate in the competition. Please indicate the group you are applying for.
（2） This competition is only for colleges and universities. The college group is divided into elite and ordinary groups. The relevant qualifications of each group are as follows:
Elite male and female teams in colleges and universities: colleges and universities with student orienteering teams have participated in the National (Student) Orienteering Championships or Beijing Orienteering Cross-country Championships before 2010. (That is to say, the schools that registered for the elite group of men and women in colleges and universities and the first group of men and women in colleges and universities in the 2011 Beijing Student Orienteering Cross-Road Championship)
Ordinary male and female groups in colleges and universities: colleges and universities that have not carried out or have just carried out orienteering (that is, colleges and universities that have applied for male and female group B in the "2011 Beijing Students Orienteering Cross-country Championship")
All colleges and universities should clarify their own groups, and colleges and universities with the qualification of elite group should not register for the ordinary group. The organizing committee will strictly review the qualification of each university's group. If it is found that those who have submitted for the lower group (who have the qualification of group A and apply for group B), the score will not be counted.
（4） Each representative team is limited to one leader and one coach.
7、 Eligibility
Athletes must be students with official school status registered in their school.
8、 Competition method
（1） The competition will be carried out in strict accordance with the Orienteering Rules.
（2） The starting mode of athletes is determined by the organizing committee of this competition, and the starting order is determined by computer random drawing.
（3） The arbitrators and judges shall be selected by the sponsor.
9、 Rank admission and award evaluation method
（1） The results of the second National University Orienteering Tour (Beijing Station) will be based on the results of the "2011 Beijing Student Orienteering Cross-Road Championship", and the top 50 men and women in the elite group of universities and colleges and the top 50 men and women in the general group of universities will be enrolled, with the top 3 awarded medals and certificates, 4-5 awarded certificates, and 9-50 awarded winners.
（2） The top three men and women of each group will be directly shortlisted for the finals of the second National University Orienteering Cross-Road Tour.
10、 Safety management
（1） The participating teams need to strengthen internal management, strict discipline, and implement the responsibility system of leading the team in the whole process.
（2） Athletes must be in good health. All teams are requested to have a physical examination before the competition. All participants who register for the competition should be responsible for their health.
（3） The team leader (coach) shall carry out publicity and education on the prevention of infectious diseases, food poisoning and other safety knowledge for the participants, and enhance the safety awareness and self-protection awareness of the participants.
（4） All athletes, coaches, team leaders, teachers, etc. who participate in the competition must apply for insurance business. Those who do not apply for insurance must not participate in the competition.
（5） Each team must read and sign the Safety and Disclaimer before participating in the competition,

11、 Registration and registration
Colleges and universities participating in the "2011 Beijing Students Orienteering Cross-country Championship" are also entitled to participate

12、 Equipment and funds:
（1） The timing equipment for the competition is Huaruijian timing equipment
（2） The compass is prepared for competition. The starting point of the competition is the ordering of directional equipment (compass, directional clothing, T-shirts, directional cards, etc.).
（3） Participants shall pay their own transportation expenses
（4） Registration fee:
Colleges and universities participating in the "2011 Beijing Students Orienteering Cross-country Championship" are also entitled to participate
No additional fees will be charged for the qualification of the "Second National University Orienteering Tour (Beijing)"
13、 Others
（1） Anyone who has any objection to the competition results, the referee's law enforcement, and the qualification of the contestants and puts forward an appeal shall submit the "Appeal Report" signed by the team leader and the appeal fee of 300 yuan to the organizing committee for acceptance. If the case is successful, the original amount of the appeal fee will be refunded.
（2） After the game, hand in the finger card, number book and map, and return the deposit. If you lose any of them, the deposit will not be returned.
（3） Those who survey the site in advance or report to the lower group will be disqualified.
