The geographical coordinates of Nanchong City are between 30 ° 35 ′ - 31 ° 51 ′ N and 105 ° 27 ′ - 106 ° 58 ′ E, with a north-south span of 165 kilometers and an east-west span of 143 kilometers. It is a typical subtropical humid monsoon climate zone. The terrain of Nanchong City is dominated by shallow hills. The terrain of the city can be divided into two major geomorphic units: the northern low mountains and the southern hilly areas. The landform dips gently from north to south, with an altitude of 256~889 meters. The landforms are mainly hills, with shallow hills and dams, middle hills and valleys, and high hills and low mountains accounting for one-third of the landforms.
