On July 23, 2014, the "2014 National Student Orientation Championship" was successfully closed in Zhenning Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province.

This year's championship has a large scale and a wide range of participation. A total of 186 representative teams and more than 2000 athletes participated in the competition. This year's championship has a strong reform and many innovative highlights. This year, the Rules for Chinese Students Orienteering (Sports) Competition (Trial) was implemented; This year, we adopted the method of linking the big screen with the result statistics system to publish the results of the competition in real time; This year, the court referees wore miniature cameras to record the process of the game more accurately; This year, a short distance mixed relay race was designed and directly connected with the World Championships. This year's championship has good security and high service quality. Zhenning County has a complex geographical situation and changeable climate. The competition committee has made many surveys before the competition and set up safety protection points. The public security and special police in Zhenning are closely guarded to ensure the safety of the competition. This year's championship referee was standardized and achieved excellent results. Many excellent athletes emerged. More than 560 athletes won gold, silver and bronze medals, of which 40 athletes were selected into the Chinese college orienteering team, and 50 teams won the moral fashion award.
The 2014 National Student Orienteering Championship was successfully concluded in Zhenning.
