Announcement of 2014 National Student Orienteering Classic

The 2014 National Student Orienteering Classic will be held in Conghua District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in the middle and late December. Conghua District is located in the middle of Guangdong Province and northeast of Guangzhou. Conghua District, one of the three sub-centers of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is located in the northeast of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Located in the low latitude zone, Conghua District has a subtropical monsoon climate. The Tropic of Cancer crosses Taiping Town at the southern end of the territory, with mild climate and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is low, and the periodic high temperature weather process is obvious; At the beginning and end of the year, there are strong cold air or cold waves, and there are different degrees of low temperature frost (ice) weather processes. The annual average temperature is 21.2 ℃, 0.4 ℃ lower than the normal temperature, the highest temperature is 36.7 ℃, and the lowest temperature is - 1.6 ℃; The annual precipitation is 2176.3 mm.
In order to make all units fully prepare for the competition and successfully participate in the competition, relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1、 Event restricted area
From now on until the end of all competitions, without the written consent of the China Student Orienteering Association, other sports teams and sports team personnel participating in the 2014 National Student Orienteering Elite Competition, except for Conghua District of Guangzhou City and the chairman of the branch, are not allowed to enter the competition area shown in the following figure for relevant training and mapping (only allowed to cross the roads in the restricted area by car), if any, Warnings or even disqualifications will be given as appropriate.
2、 Introduction to the venue (subject to the actual information of the game map)
1. Short distance race
The scale is 1:4000 or 1:5000, the contour distance is 2.5 meters, and the implementation specification is ISSOM2007.
The campus site has small fluctuations and good accessibility.
Dress advice: It can be long or short. Do not wear iron shoes.
2. Mid-distance race
The scale is 1:10000, the contour distance is 5 meters, and the implementation specification is ISOM2000.
Site description: The competition site is relatively flat, with artificial forest, cash crop forest, cultivated land, shrub forest, etc., but mainly litchi forest. Generally, there are jogging or slow-moving shrubs and weeds at the bottom of the forest. Please choose carefully.
Dress advice: long clothes and trousers, spiked shoes can be worn.
3. Long distance race
The scale is 1:15000, the contour distance is 5 meters, and the implementation specification is ISOM2000.

3、 Major changes
After the research and decision of the competition committee, the referee committee and the secretariat of the branch, the 2014 National Student Orienteering Elite Competition will be a long-distance competition. All teams are requested to do a good job of pre-competition training. The specific provisions are subject to the competition rules.
