Fujian Province holds the first youth orienteering championship

On May 25, 2014, the 2014 Fujian Provincial Youth Orienteering Championships, jointly sponsored by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education and the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Sports, and jointly hosted by the Fujian Provincial Social Sports Guidance Center, the Fujian Provincial Radio Orienteering Association, and the Fujian Auris Radio Orienteering Club, were grandly held at the Fujian Provincial Olympic Sports Center in Fuzhou. Nearly 300 teenagers from more than 15 colleges, secondary schools, primary and secondary schools, such as Fujian University of Engineering, Putian University, Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University, Fuzhou No. 1 Middle School, Foreign Language School, and Jin'an Experimental Primary School, participated in the competition. The competition used Huaruijian Chinahealth electronic timekeeping equipment to ensure the smooth holding of the competition.
This competition is divided into eight groups: college men's/women's group, high school men's/women's group, junior high school men's/women's group, and primary school men's/women's group.
The top eight men's/women's teams in each category were selected. The final results are as follows: Lin Fupiao and Ma Mengli of Fujian University of Engineering won the university men's/women's group championship respectively, Zhao Jianfeng and Chen Xingyi of Fuzhou No. 1 Middle School won the high school men's/women's group championship, and the junior high school men's/women's group championship was also won by the players from Fuzhou No. 1 Middle School. The primary school men's/women's group champions were Lv Zheng and Li Xiaofen from Fuzhou Xindian Central Primary School. The first place in the total score of the group was won by Fujian Provincial Institute of Engineering, Fuzhou No.1 Middle School and Xindian Primary School respectively.
