The Second Guangdong University Orientation Development Carnival kicked off

The second Guangdong University Orienteering Sports Federation Orienteering Development Carnival officially opened today. The orienteering carnival, as the annual event of Guangdong University Orienteering Federation, aims to build a public welfare platform for orienteering promotion and communication by holding orienteering sports events, academic exchanges, outward bound training, outdoor mountaineering, hiking, camping experience, picnic life, self-help protection and other activities, and help students learn professional skills including cartography, professional equipment, field survival and other professional skills. In addition to this comprehensive event, the Guangdong University Orienteering Federation also regularly holds about 10 university tournaments in the first half of each year, and an invitational competition and a series of training courses in the second half of each year to promote the recognition of orienteering in colleges and universities and in the whole society from all aspects, so as to achieve greater development.

The orienteering cross-country invitational competition of colleges and universities in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao, which will be held in Shenzhen University Town, will bring Guangzhou students in the ivory tower to a wider field of exchange, and carry out intellectual and physical competition and exchange with university students from Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao.
