Youth has you! The 2019 National Student Radio Direction Finding Championship kicks off fiercely

On July 24, in order to promote the development of radio direction finding sports for middle school and college students in China, and to improve the technical level of radio direction finding sports, it was sponsored by the China University Sports Association and the China Middle School Sports Association, undertaken by Guangzhou Urban Construction Vocational College, and Guangzhou Youth Science and Technology Education Association. The co-organized 2019 National Student Radio Direction Finding Championship officially kicked off a week-long competition at Guangzhou Urban Construction Vocational College.

This championship attracted a total of 30 participating teams, with nine competitions including 3.5MHz short-distance direction finding individual competition, 144MHz short-distance direction finding individual competition, and 3.5MHz standard distance direction finding individual competition. Shenzhen Huaruijian Industrial Co., Ltd. also provides equipment and technical support for the competition. At the same time, in order to improve the safety guarantee ability of the competition, the radio direction finding competition introduces a safe positioning bracelet system for the first time, so all participating athletes will wear positioning bracelets. The competition can effectively guarantee the safety of the athletes and keep abreast of the running routes of the athletes in time;

The opening ceremony of the 2019 National Student Radio Direction Finding Championship was grandly held in the lecture hall of Guangzhou Urban Construction Vocational College. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yan Lijuan, Secretary General of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao STEM Education Alliance, Zhu Jiantao, Director of Competition Department of Guangzhou Student Sports Art Federation, and China University Sports Association Guests such as An Wei, Project Manager of the Competition Management Department and Yu Xiaoguang, Dean of Guangzhou Urban Construction Vocational College attended the opening ceremony. On the third day of the competition, the 3.5MHz standard distance individual competition was held. Secretary-General Li Xidong also arrived.
