On March 16, 2014, the weather was sunny. The "Huaruijian Cup", sponsored by Shenzhen Orienteering Association, co-organized by Shenzhen Huaruijian Industry Co., Ltd., and supported by Shenzhen Sanfu Outdoor Products Co., Ltd., the first match of the 2014 Shenzhen Orienteering League opened in Pinghu Ecological Park, Longgang District, Shenzhen.
Pinghu Ecological Park is a newly-built country park, characterized by low and gentle fruit forest and secondary forest land, low drop, gentle slope, rich and diverse vegetation and low visibility. The map of the event is the latest seven-color directional map revised in 2014, with a scale of 1:7500 and a contour distance of 5 meters. It is difficult to implement the standard IS0M2000.
The highlight of this competition is the group. In addition to the regular youth group, youth group, youth group, adult group and elite group, the parent-child group is the new feature group of this competition this year, consisting of one child and at least one parent, regardless of age. The purpose of setting up this group is to create an atmosphere of communication between parents and children, let parents and children join hands in nature, and broaden children's vision; Promote family cooperation and close family relations. Thus, it is beneficial to improve parents' concepts and skills of childcare in a happy game, and promote children's physical growth and happy intelligence.
Since its introduction into China, orienteering has been included in the "sports and art 2+1 project" and the national-level subject field survival and life training course, which has rapidly become an important part of the reform of physical education curriculum and the implementation of quality education in China's universities and middle schools, and has been included in the school-based physical education curriculum as a general physical education curriculum in most schools. The fun of orienteering is quite different from the boring repetition of ordinary sports activities. In addition to being popular with teachers and students in schools, it has gradually been accepted and loved by social groups. Parent-child activities of various families and training activities of the company are emerging in an endless stream.
Orienteering is vividly described as playing chess in nature, which not only tests the runners' running ability, but also their thinking and judgment ability. It is full of the stimulation of sports competition and the fun of entering nature. Each checkpoint on the map is like every goal point in our life. Let us use our strength and wisdom to achieve our set goals easily, happily and successfully!
Now the people who participate in orienteering include children aged four or five to the elderly aged seven or eighty. I hope more and more people will participate in this beneficial activity!
